Hello there........lots of exciting things happening at the moment. I am about to start some illustrations for a lovely childrens book, 'Red on Green' by the charming Greek actor come renaissance man George Tardios (google him and see his story in the New York Times about 2 and a half years retracing the steps of Stanley and Livingstone through darkest Africa with some donkey's), who discovered my work at the Round Tower and has asked me to have a crack at doing some illustrations for him. It is a beautiful moral tale, wonderfully wrtten so hopefully with my images added to the mix it will fly well, in fact both he and I have a good feeling about it..... Send the love to me over these next few months and I will put it into the painting! Given my feelings about the Island it would be amazing to have produced a lovely childrens book with a Cypriot writer.

A couple of times recently I have been asked if I want to teach art as a kind of spiritual/personal developmental lesson at holistic retreats. So I have tentatively started feeling around in my brain and heart for some ideas as to how I would go about this. Maybe, just be me telling my story and encouraging people likewise to free up their creativity by opening up their spiritual selves. In a similar vein my lovely yogic friend Vanessa is keen to run weekly yoga/art days for the children here during the summer holidays. She has asked me to take care of the art bit, her being the yoga guru. sounds like fun and will give my lily-billy something nice to be at the heart of.

As well as fiddler-diddling with bits of driftwood and generally cluttering up the kitchen with bits of flotsam and jetsam, Max is busy working on my website and also putting together a catalogue of my prints with a view to tempting more galleries into taking my work. We are thinking about the possibility of an NEC stand to get things in that area moving a little quicker perhaps next spring show or the following one as with such a large and growing portfolio of prints it seems the time may be nigh for a full scale charm offensive on the industry. I have also started work on some images designed for new born babies, with my bit of celebratory writing accompanying each print, with a view to them being expanded into a larger range and showcased at the NEC in spring 2011. Just keep sending the love..................
