Cyprus Composition

After I first approached a publishing house who agreed to take some of my work I was over the moon and determined to give them something I was really proud of. This was the first of what has now become quite a large portfolio of limited edition prints. I tried to bring together many of the most significant elements of the first set of Cyprus paintings that I exhibited both in the UK and Cyprus in 2006. There is a winding road with a flock of sheep coming down, a village in the mountain, butterflies, a couple of curious goats, a citrus grove, a big fat sun and a tiny spider. There is even a little nod to the fish coming in at the top right of the skyline.
