Full Wolf Moon (January)

 

Sometimes also known as the ‘hunger moon’ or ‘old moon’. In January, deep in the thick snow and freezing cold of midwinter, wolf packs roamed and howled with hunger in the hills and plains outside villages. This can be a time of suffering and hardship, of deep reflection and to begin planning for the coming months.
