The Emperor - 4

£17.50Price
  • 'Enough of that nonsense.' The Emperor cried.

'Let's swim a river a thousand miles wide.

Let's climb a mountain and gather the stars,

We'll fly with the wind and then colonise Mars.

I'm strong as an Ox with a heart made of fire,

I will run faster and I can jump higher.

I'm looking for action, I don't care how risky.

I'm big and I'm bold, I'm tough and I'm frisky.'

Full with charisma, a big smile he flashes.

In spite of herself fool is batting her lashes.

'Are you man enough?' The Emperor inquires.

An awestruck fool might do all he desires.

    'I'm the leader, the boss.

I'm the one you don't cross.

    I'm King, I'm the best.

    Pick me, lose the rest.'

All this 'I amming' brings fool to her senses.

Her eyebrows arch whilst her bottom jaw tenses.

She can see that he'd destroy,

as much as he would mend.

    Beautiful and dangerous.

    Enemy and friend.

Still, he seems to get things done,

people take and trust his lead.

Fool learns much and journeys on,

with swagger and at greater speed.
